should i have laid this hand down?

Final Pot: $9.36

Given the level I'm playing I didn't put my opponent on much. I was hoping 2 pair (or less likely an over pair). I realize that with bottom set there isn't much that I can beat, but given the level of competition I'm not sure if my play was correct.
What do you think?

Probably fine with no reads to go with it.

Next time set the converter to target 2+2 forums and it will turn out right.

It's good to know I didn't play it terribly, thanks.
He flopped nut straight with 10 8.

You played it right. He will have a straight or flush draw a lot more often than a made straight, and you still have a 35% chance of filling up by the river even when you're beat.

Don't fold unless you see his cards. So, never.

Re: should i have laid this hand down?

i was thinking that i had a chance of filling up even if he flopped the nuts...
so the standard play when you flop a set on an average board is to move in with out much hesitation?

You can fold 77 to a reraise if the board is:
