pretty simple decision with aces, 25/50
I've got like 6k, he covers. We've played together a fair bit, he's a pretty solid and aggressive regular, but no relevant specific reads. I think we have a mutual respect for each others game. This is the first time we've played together at 25/50, and I've been in line so far this session (pretty much just picking on the fish in the lineup).
I open the button for pot with AA, he calls in BB. Pot is like $375. Flop is J87r, he checkraises my $225 bet to $725. I call. (would anybody fold or 3bet here instead?) Turn is an T completing the rainbow. He checks somewhat quickly. Whats my play now, and plan for future actions? Pot is $1825, and remaining stacks are about $5000. |

[ QUOTE ] check, and I'd prob fold most rivers [/ QUOTE ] agreed, but I'd bet some rivers if checked to for many reasons [/ QUOTE ] Why? I feel like Hero's hand is pretty face up here and it would be hard to get value on blank river if he does happen to have a worse hand. |
