Any poker sites enable straddling?

It seems like it would be easy for them to simply give the UTG+1 player a box with the option "straddle next hand". I suppose it could alternatively give the UTG player a quick option (3 secs. or so) to straddle up at the beginning of the hand. Is this not done because after all, it is called a "live straddle"? Seriously, have any sites ever attempted this?

It probably isn't in the sites best interest to allow one more way for the fishies to go broke quicker. The only incentive to offer it would be as a marketing tool against other sites, but even so it doesn't seem like it'd be that much of a help and might ultimately affect the success of their site to having all the gambling fishies going broke just as fast as they can straddle.

I disagree, a straddle will build the pot bigger, and make the rakes larger. I havent heard of anything regarding this.

At most limits isn't the rake getting capped almost every hand anyhow? I don't think your reasoning could significantly affect the bottom line, but its all speculation anyhow.

I mean that means that at a limit where the rake isn't capped every hand, every now and again this would cap the rake, which might have happened anyhow. I don't see this having a significant impact at all.

However the fish going broke quickly has an obvious significant impact on their bottom line (and ours).

Pokerworld allows straddles, as well as blind chops

I believe Pokerhost allows straddles, and chops. I guess the only problem would be that nobody plays there.

Well, you could put your hand on your monitor where you're cards are, and before that type: "i'm going to straddle/blind raise every hand UTG". Then raise blind, get reraised, and now you have the option

Will do wonders for your table image.
