villain is 30/20 and I felt I had enough outs to see this all the way out...is this too much aggro/gamble?

This is NOT a monster draw..... its a marginal/OK draw at best
You have gutshot to the 3rd nuts and you have 9 outs to a flush with 3 other clubs beating you (even Heads Up)

His flop bet, makes this an easy Fold IMHO

I still wouldn't consider this a monster draw. I would fold here and like BishopsFinger mentioned I would've lead out more than $0.50.
