Rakeback done?

If the regs are strong and actively enforced but players find ways to play. Will rakeback be over?

Rakeback will not be the only thing you loose.

You will also loose the bed you sleep on at night. At least that is what I heard.

I second Blueman.....WHAT???

I think he wants to know if we will still have rakeback even if the anti-gambling regulations are put in place (obviously implying that people are continuing to play online anyways). Not to highjack this thread or anything, but do people think rakeback will be offered on regulated sites if regulated online poker becomes a reality?

Re: Rakeback done?

If somehow online poker is officially made legal in US look for lots of rakeback with numerous sites competing in the market.
OTOH if regulations and DOJ force more sites and ewallets out of US market then rakeback deals may be harder to find.

if its made legal and the sites are sapposed to be sactioned by the us why would sites all the sudden stop serving us

Seems like they would just get regulated

They would, however more recognizable brand names like MGM, Harrah's and Trump would likely takeover the current market due to brand name recognition.

If all they bring to the online table is their name and reputation then it would make more sense to takeover existing rooms or license skins from existing network operators.

In the second sentence, I meant if online poker is not officially made legal.
