using the print screen on a mac running windows XP
 
is anyone smart enough to help me on this?

i love posting graphs and pictures and random crap on 2p2, but my new laptop is a mac running windows XP. obviously macs dont have a printscreen button, and ive tried doing (applebutton+shift+3) to no avail

any ideas? ty in advance

you'll probably need to get a screen capture program of some kind. Vista comes with one and it is a feature of MS Notes that I use at work a lot.

Are you using Boot Camp? If you are, you should be able to use Fn + F11 (or Option + Fn + F11 to capture the active window).

You can also use the On Screen Keyboard in Start > Programs > Accessories > Accessibility.
