bet more on the flop

turn is an easy fold, that line almost always beats 1 pair

I would def bet it harder on the flop making it 1,1-1,2

On the turn your probably beat i dont see an kj doing this neither an ak since betting the flop represented that you hit the k. Quite sure he had kq or p 9's?

So guess i would fold without read.

Basically, dont call a turn check raise all in with 1 pair. period. Villains line represents a monster, like top two or a flopped set.

I would say range includes 2Ps(KQ), sets maybe even JTs, I would say our equity is <33%, so fold it's probably close. Don't know if he would do this with KJ.

Let's not get carried away. There are definitely situations where it is appropriate to call when a villain takes this line. Poker is not a game of absolutes.

However, you are right that in this spot, this is a clear fold.

Nice theory. Think i was just happy to finally hit a flop, and had stopped thinking about what my oppenent could have. Thanks for the input

youre absolutely right, there are some people against whom folding would be a mistake. but it would take a real solid read and a different board for that to happen.

yeah, this is quite an easy fold. Set or KQ looks most likely.
