I think this is fine. Your not going to get much value out of him with any other line. I'd play it the same way.

I'd probably just move in on the flop, there are alot of draws and it's not such a huge overbet

if he bets the turn are you still pushin?? if so sounds sorta like your slow playin and i dont think givin a villian a free card is a good idea here. id just push the flop.
