JJ is 3bet pre flop 10nl
 

I have villain at 28/17 over 60 hands or so and this is the first time he's 3 bet anything pre flop. I seem to have run into this situation alot lately. I'm looking for advice pre and post flop. Is this a spot for a 4bet pre, and now what do I do with his cbet and someone yet to act behind me?

First of all I hate those tiny 3bets preflop.

If it was me in the hand I would most likely reraise to isolate and possibly win the hand right there. Any flop J and under you just try and get it in. I've been min3bet multiple times at 10nl and when I 4bet I (surprisingly) get a fold. (Maybe its just my own small sample)

Anyway I fold on the above flop.

Interested to see if any other posters 4bet when they've been 3bet min raised. I think calling here preflop is fine too... I just mix it up sometimes with a 4bet or a smooth call.

4 betting here pf is pretty bad I think. This mini 3 bets often indicate a premium hand, and I act according to that until I have a read that says otherwise. As played, just fold here, if his range is premiums like it probably is, then you now lose to AK as well as everything else that would be in his range. His 1/2 pot bet could easily be for value from AK/AA/KK figuring this is a dry board and there is nothing to protect against. I mean it is highly unlikely you have 76 here.

you can pitch this, IME small 3bets are Ak/AQ a disproportionate amount of the time.
