2-pair facing river push

I'm readless, since this is the first hand I've played, and I've only been at the table 3 hands. My big question is the river decision, however feel free to comment on earlier streets if necessary.

We don't play KTs so that we can stack off with TP2K. I put him on not-a-6-ever, but a lot of 88, JJ, QQ. A fold here would be totally fine.

I guess 76 might show up here occasionally. And 97 might really be possible depending on opponent.

Explain please? By no means am I dismissing this as worse than a bet, I'd just like to know why you think this, and how it might change the river decision as well.

I get floated a ton in this spot. 79 just hit, so I'm not really all that scared about any straight draws, and given that we have diamonds, i'm not scared about any flush draws. I want this guy to bet the turn with an 8 or worse.

I don't see many hands that will call the turn that we have beat, but I see a ton that will bet. On top of that, anything that will call our turn bet will probably bet himself.

I just think we get more value when we're ahead and lose less when we're behind.

This looks like a busted flush draw a lot of the time to me. You showed weakness by going bet/bet/check, like you missed your draw, and he is punishing you for it. I think if he was value betting here, it would have been for less than a PSB. At the same time, I don't like stacking off this light.. I probably call and make a note.
