Beat: No apartment insurance.
Brag: Using Turning Stone comps to get a TV.
Brag: Using Fpps for an xbox 360.
Variance: My roommate's net worth is over a million dollars, so he doesn't care. My new worth is not over a million dollars and I do care.

If your roomate got his net worth from poker I'd think the biggest beat is someone having his laptop/logins. That should be taken care of first.
