Odds Calculator

Whats the best hand calculator to get that will run under my tables? I want to see what my odds of winning and the odds of them having the nuts/better hand. Do you guys even use this? Let me know what I should do. Thanks!

Re: Odds Calculator

your odds of winning are entirely dependent on their hole cards, it wouldn't be viable until you are all in and the cards flipped.

If you want to study odds and get a better sense of how actually are, I suggest downloading pokerstove (pokerstove.com) - its a free utility that you can learn a ton from.

So you think it is pointless to download an odds calculator for your had while in the game? You know the kind that link up with the site and it feeds it the hand history. Thanks!

Re: Odds Calculator

Correct. I would separate studying the odds and playing poker into different timeframes. The most basic percentages (flush/straight draws, flopping sets, etc) should be memorized.
