NL50: AJs 3bet OOP vs very laggy player

BTN: $203.75
Hero (SB): $85.50

River: ($38) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $6.75, Hero calls $6.75

Villian's stats are 48/26/3.2/110, all hands from this session. ATS 57%(16/28)! I don't know how his stack became so big, this is the first bigger than average pot he is involved in. He folded a lot when facing resistance postflop.

He could very easily have a Q here, that's why i switched to check-call mode after he called my c-bet (to be honest, i was quite lost in this hand).

Postflop is fine.

PF, I don't know. 3 betting with AJs in general is good but doing it out of position against someone who isn't going to fold can lead to difficulties. If you know he will usually fold to a c-bet then its ok but if not, I don't think I like it. Because we are deepish I might call but I think I might often fold and take advantage of him during the other 5 hands in an orbit when we have position.

Proof that full tilt is rigged.

I would not 3bet light this type of player OOP, he has not figured the fold button yet. Postflop is fine.

Your c-bet turned into a hand with some sd value. looks good to me.

Smooth-calling preflop is an option, but since your very LAGgy opponent can find the fold button postflop, the case for a 3-bet does improve. (You may have some postflop folding equity and your chances of winning a huge pot aren't as great as they might appear on first glance anyway.)

Postflop looks good.

I reall don't want to be playing a pot 3way oop w/ a unkown BB and a LAGy button. I like the 3bet, our hand is likely ahead of villains range, and he is very often goign to call w/ dominated hands (yes even to our AJ) and it appears he can fold sometimes postflop, then we always have the added bonus of often being able to take it down w/ a cbet.

Postlop your hand seems to be played fine, you turned some SD value vs a bad LAGy player. Well played.

This is a value bet pf, hero is crushing villain's opening range and doing pretty well against a lot of villains' calling ranges with those pf stats.
