looking for people to trade plo hands/thoughts with

i've been playing some plo again lately and plan on playing a lot more in the next month or so. unfortunately, the plo forum sucks now more than ever. most of what people write is either obvious, or stupid, or bickering. i don't really want to post hands and then navigate the drudge to find the occasional mildly useful comment, and i don't feel like sharing all of my ideas without getting much in return. I suspect some others who could probably contribute more feel the same way.

So if you are interesting in chatting about plo hands or ideas or whatever, PM me, and maybe we can trade a few hands over email or IM and see what happens. i play mostly mid-stakes online, so if you play above 10-20, don't waste your time. and if you play below 1-2, please don't waste mine.

maybe people would give more useful advice if you shared your insight more often and they could learn something.
i understand why you dont want to do it though.

I know this eliminates me, but damn I want to be involved in this. It just seems wrong to abandon this forum entirely.

yeah me neither but from the sound of your post thought you might be. you really think the stakes someone plays dictates whether you can learn from discussing hands with them? Also, you have done very little to improve this forum so while I agree with your assessment for the most part i frankly think unless you are willing to roll up your sleeves and try to make this a good learning environment then this negativity only serves to make things worse and make you sound like a snob frankly

I've solicited one on one IM hand discussion partners on here many times. I just don't see what the point of doing it in such a better-than this place is a waste of my time but I'm not going to do shiyat about it and don't bother PM'ing me if you play .5/1. I'd be interested in discussing strategy as well. PM me, but don't bother if you play higher than 3/6.

I'm not trying to improve this forum, and frankly I'm ambivalent about whether I'd really want to participate fully even if it was much better. I'm self-interested and am looking for people who can help me analyze some situations and flesh out some ideas, in exchange for which I'm willing to help them with the same. And while I'm sure there are some people who play .25-.50/.50-1 who are very good at poker and would have something to add, the majority of low stakes players play low stakes because they aren't good enough to play higher. If they really are that good, they should move up soon enough.

I know your not trying to improving the forum and I don't care how you feel about anything whatsoever. Just wasted a few keystrokes pointing out that your attitude and statements serve no purpose except to worsen things. Also, we have a low-content thread for self-centered crap that nobody cares about.

I seriously cannot believe that anybody even PMed you. You broadly insult every poster on the forum then ask for help. Your tone makes you sound like a spoiled child.
