Double squeeze play! I don't like this so early in the tournament Squeeze is normally more effective late.

Re: Good spot for a squeeze?

I guess my thinking was with all that dead money in there, it was worth the risk of racing or facing a dominated hand. the chips i picked up on that hand allowed me to double through and play a strong hand in a similar looking way (I realize that this may be result-orientated thinking and that it doesn't necessarily mean either play was correct.)

Re: Good spot for a squeeze?

i dont really like it. there is a lot of dead money in there but a sb is rarely folding a better ace or most pocketpairs
and the other guys could be idiots with monsters

Too risky for my liking..especially this early on

Re: Good spot for a squeeze?

then again if you're sick with a big stack this could probably be worth it considering you wont really have another opportunity for a pot this big this early without a cooler.

that said i still think its spewy

Re: Good spot for a squeeze?

I hate it... it's pretty transparent that your hand is not that good after limping behind 2 others ahead of you. Now if you had open limped and let the button raise you, maybe... but still a bit risky this early.
