A classic AA RR hand

It's like me 10th hand at the table. Villain is 19/8/2 over about 50 hands and I have no reads. $200 stacks.

UTG limps, Villain raises to $8, I make it $29 from the BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], UTG folds, Villain calls.

Flop is K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
I check, Villain checks

Turn is the 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
I bet $45, Villain calls.

River is the Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Check or bet?

If we bet, why, and are we folding if he raises, and why?

If we check, why?

Why are you checking this flop? It's very suspicious and you won't be inducing bluffs with it.

What a terrible flop check.

I like betting (for value and to stop a bluff and to avoid a possibly tough decision for us if we check and he bets) and folding to a raise (because we only beat a bluff if he raises and I don't think people bluffraise these spots very often, at least IME).

This is wrong.

Why do you want to bet?

It's only suspicious to you robots who bet 100% of their flops when they RR. I check a ton of flops when I RR.

bilbo,

i'd bet thyis flop for value and expect any pair to call.

As played, you have to bet the river IMO, as he's not going to bluff it for you

I agree they will often call the flop, but are you betting the turn then?

I don't think you should be betting more than two streets with this hand, and I think the turn and river are better than the flop and river. Do you disagree?

Checking flops like this with a lot of hands gives you an opportunity to c/r sometimes with good hands, because if you almost always bet, then checking is holla suspicious.

Bet flop. Flop is draw heavy, checking a king high flop after 3 betting preflop is suspicious as hell and not going to induce any bluffs.

Bet flop all day here and twice on Sundays. Oh did i mention, bet flop?
