Bonus taken out of rakeback?

I'm signed with FTP and a rake back affiliate and I understand that the bonus is taken out of my rakeback but I'm not quite sure what that means.

Does it mean that I will not be paid my first $600 in rake? Or does it mean I won't get any rake until my bonus clears?

And also as I understand the bonus is released in $20 instalements. Will I get that instantly or once a month from my affiliate?

A common misnomer, being deducted from rakeback. It's actually deducted from your MGR, or effectively, your rake. IE if your MGR is determined to be $1,000 for the month, and you are getting 27%, you would receive $270. However, if you cleared $500 in bonus that month (I imagine that's way too high...this is just for illustrative purposes), you would receive $1,000-$500 = $500 x 27% = $135. Or to look at it another way, you lose 27% of the bonus you clear.

The bonus payment has nothing to do with your affilliate...it is paid directly by the site.

Edited to fix RB %.

Re: Bonus taken out of rakeback?

everytime you earn a $20 bonus installment (which is paid directly by FT and directly into your player account instantly), that $20 amount is deducted from your MGR or net rake. So in terms of a rough calculation:

[(net rake) - (bonus installments earned)] X .27 (27% rakeback) = monthly rakeback earned.

I hope this helps!

Except I guess my RB % is wrong...you can tell I don't play there much.
