I would check/call a reasonable flop bet and hope I fill up.

This can't be good. Just a simple math problem no?

I just think we are i very bad shape too often to get our money in on the flop. If we aren`t he`ll probably give us a free card on the turn which would be great and we may bluff him off on the river.

I don't think there is any other way to play it.

prty sure this hand is good for a stack on the flop in a 3bet pot.

stack sizes are pretty ugly for this type of hand but ill always fire $250 or so and call a shove.

Re: What do you do when...

actually stack sizes are really ugly, leads you to being pot committed when you dont want to be, by leading flop or by firing a blank turn and he shoves.

but i still bet $250 and happy to get the chips in on the flop, if he calls i may check turn and hope for free river.
