Teammate got drafted
 

My friend and teammate was drafted into the NHL this morning. His name is Tommy Cross and he went 35th overall (2nd round) to Boston. He's a pretty big defenseman who will definitely make an impact in the NHL I think, so look out for his name.

Brag: Played on the same team/went to school with a future NHLer.
Beat: Didn't get drafted myself.
Variance: I played with/against, and know a few other kids who were drafted.
