How many times does perma-banned Cyrus get to post under a new account

in the politics forum until iron81 feels "guilty" enough to do something? As many times as he did under the Mickey Brausch account? Just curious.

Re: How many times does perma-banned Cyrus get to post under a new acc

Oh, great BluffTHIS! Please forgive me for not remembering that Cyrus used that account 4 months ago to complain about his ban. I am not worthy of being in the same forum as your superior memory and logic. I fully deserved to be called out in ATF for something that could have easily been resolved in PM.

iron,

I just couldn't resist . However you should also have seen from his last two posts the true identity of same by the posting style. I actually waited a couple days to see if you did something.

And note this still doesn't mean he doesn't have other long time accounts that he used at the same time as his previous accounts, which an IP check would dig up. Such an IP check would likely turn up a couple surprises. He is smart enough not to use his signature style in other ones, and obviously either didn't care or was testing the waters with the one in question here.

Yeah, seriously, BT this is the lamest of the lame.

nation,

ATF would just be a quiet ghost town if not for occasional politics form drama threads.

Plus in all seriousness, I outed the Mickey Brausch account as being that of Cyrus from the get go, and yet was told by many posters I was full of it. Apparently it took them 1000 posts or so to get it. And iron admitted he ignored the Mickey account as being that of Cyrus even though he felt "guilty" about it. So I just wanted to get this on record early with this account.

This post belongs in the BeginnersATF forum much like posts asking about raising connectors so they will have odds to chase a draw on later streets belong in the Beginner forum.

I would say this manufactured drama is below you BT, but I don't think I'd be correct.

Well I for one applaud his efforts to post and hope he succeeds if that is what he wants.

Well done to Bluff for such a feat of deduction though, especially considering his obvious limitations.

The real question for iron is when is he going to ditch that rickdicalous avatar.

Let the poor bastard retire, man!

Re: How many times does perma-banned Cyrus get to post under a new acc

The only thing further I would like to know at this point is whether after responding in this thread, iron:

1) immediately banned that account

2) came back and banned it later so I wouldn't think I can yank his chain like a puppet

3) had to start a thread in the mod forum or PM a red to ask whether he should ban an account of a poster whom Mason already said in the past wasn't welcome back

Re: How many times does perma-banned Cyrus get to post under a new acc

I think I banned him before I replied in this thread. Total complaint -> ban time = 4 minutes.

I just came up with an idea for an Obama avatar, but I have to get home to work on it.

The 'Mickey Brausch' account was so obviously Cyrus that deducing it was him was no great feat. I only half remember why he was banned and think he shouldn't have been in the first place. He was always polite. I'd like to know why he was banned, exactly. It seemed to me at the time that it was simply that his views offended the wrong people.

He questioned the actions of Israel - im pretty sure this was back when Israel was firing rockets at civilian targets like red cross ambulances in Lebanon after Jihadists captured Israeli soldiers acting illegally in Lebanese territory. To my knowledge, the soldiers captured STILL havent been released - which was the only condition Israel had set when their war against Lebanonese people began - and in the prosess united them with the Jihadist factions of the south in their hatred of Israel.

Of course, saying such things is of course not allowed - yet when Bluff makes obvious racist remarks about Muslims that is 100% acceptable.

I support Israel for the most part and was completely comfortable with Cyrus's views (and yours too). It's not as if they are uncommon or totally unsupportable. Nobody is perfect. At any rate I thought he was polite and documented his positions and I had no problem w/ him. I know things got very hot in Politics at that time w/ that issue but I still wouldn't have banned him. OTOH, this is not my forum and I know it and I sort of understand the reasons he was banned and all of that so that's that.

I've made a lot of comments about radical Moslems, about why I believe the so-called "moderate majority" is a myth as pertains to Moslems in Arab countries, and about how although I am willing to live in peace with Moslems if they are so-willing as well, I am also willing to fight to the death if they're not, and to use any means, including nukes, to keep Iran from acquiring nukes. However I have never made general racist comments about all Moslems, especially as I have mentioned a small handful of Moslem countries I believe we can get along with well, including Turkey, Jordan and Kuwait.

But of course that isn't good enough for the PC'ers who despite the truths that are told about the reprehensible aims and actions of radical Moslems, seek to portray such criticism as racist even though it be true.

There is only one exception that I can think of now, which was an overly disparaging comment about Palestinians in particular, and how I believed they are viewed by other Arabs.

However Phil doesn't know any of that, because he hasn't really followed the postings closely in the politics forum for that past couple years. All he is doing is repeating the lies of others, which still makes himself a liar.

Turdle,

I have made exactly 2 gimmick accounts over time to post/do funny stuff (to me) but never in the politics or SMP forums. One of them is now banned and the other I haven't logged onto in a long time. So the answer to your question is zilch.

But back at ya with the other account question if IP checked.
