Ceasar\'s Daily Tournies

Anyone got the low down on the daily tournies at Ceasars L.V.? Allvegaspoker.com doesn't have anything.

How many people usually play? How many rebuys are people making?

Only one rebuy is allowed. In fact, you basically have to rebuy. For your initial buy-in, you get 1,500 chips (I think). For the rebuy, you get 3,000 chips (twice as much for sure).

The tournaments seem to always get at least 60 players and sometimes get over 150.

Caesars Palace has done a great job with their tournaments. They're probably the #1 place in Vegas to play large tournaments with a modest buy-in.

How much are the buyins? When are they?

Anyone know if they are changing the schedule at all during WSOP?

I must have been unlucky when I went last March. For the 7pm tournament we had less than 30 players.

their noon tourney is the best low-buy in in vegas. Usually between 60-90 players- 75% rebuy.

I played in the Caesar's noon tournament on Monday, May 29. There were 93 players. Only one rebuy was allowed. Most of the folks at my table took it. $80 gets you 1500 in chips. The $50 rebuy gets you another 3000.

The information at this site was accurate at the time I played:

Honestly, I have never played in a rebuy tourney. Here, we are only allowed 1 rebuy. When does it make sense to take it? Should I just take it right away and start off with 4500 chips, or should I wait to see where I'm at by the first break and take it then?

It's the noon tournament that gets alot of players. 7pm is always smaller. I'd be surprised if they ever got more than 60 at night.

Take it at the start. Tourney is $80 buy in for $1500 tournament chips. Rebuy is $50 for $3000 tournament chips. Easy decision.
