$215 Sunday Million-How bad is this?

So I played this donkament today and I think i was a donk! So the villain in this hand is a little loose but nothing that screams maniac....Of course, I thought he could have a King or Queen, but would lay down most anything BUT top two pair and a set.....How bad did I play this?

You think he would lay down anything but two pair+ which is a reasonable theory but you kind of have a problem in that generally when people 4 bet you on this type of flop and these stacks, he probably has 2 pair +. This is really bad imo.

agreed....what is the best way to play this hand? Also, i have a "lottery ticket" mentality with MTTs because I believe its just so much luck that I'd even get it in behind here to "gamble"...is this common or do I need help?

I would flat-call the flop the first time around. Given that you raised and got min-reraised, I think you have no FE, so I would just call the reraise because of the pot odds. As for the turn/river, I only continue if he gives me the correct pot odds/implied odds to continue, and I fold if any card pairs the board.

Indy ,

I would have just called the flop . On the turn , If he makes another smallish bet , I probably raise it .

I just call the flop bet, as played the 5-bet is generally pure spew, just call the 4-bet planning to fold turn UI. I am not a big fan of the pf limp.

hate it. Also I think the original flop raise is very wrong, especially in this type of tournament. The rest of the hand is much less important than the original decision to raise the flop.

Everyone is saying they would call the flop the first time around, but I don't think they are nearly emphasizing how much worse raising is. That's my feeling at least.
