Yep, second that. Thanks brah. Pity that it's getting scrapped just a few weeks before the PGA Tour season will effectively come to an end - did you sell that at all?

The upcoming topic - limit -> NL conversions - is not a seasonal one. Maybe they're trying to squeeze it in before they go to something else? Golf here in Phoenix is year-round, but for the balance of posters in this forum I think their season will end in October. It's a shame we couldn't swap stories and thoughts for another month or so while everyone is playing. No sour grapes though, the forum's existence was a pleasant surprise.

Cool on the decision reversal.

I actually wouldn't be that upset if it went to the Sporting Event forum IF the posts that were OK to post here were OK to post there. IOW, can someone consider a video of their golf swing a "sporting event"? (Even some of the clueless mods in OOT move topics about say buying sports equipment to the SE forum - going to the store to buy something is not really a sports event.)

This will never be resolved until a consensus is reached or recreation-type posts are expressly allowed in OOT. Funny, some (like a debate about ATH vs. PTI) manage to be allowed in OOT, but then some others - clearly NOT about an EVENT - get moved to Sports. Either the name of that forum should be changed or non-event posts allowed in OOT. Confusing.

And FWIW I'm positive the threads that now exist in this forum would almost all sink like a stone in Sports, crushed under *******OFFFICIAL MY TEAM 2007 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS******* types of threads that get bumped daily.
