My reasoning for Checking the RIVER:
-SB might be slowplaying something sick and will re-raise me
-SB could have had a weaker Ace however hit his kicker on flop for two pair.
-SB might not call with their Q-10 etc, so Im risking money for NOTHING...If they do have SOMETHING its most likely better then mine... ie: A10, set, etc

Is this play too nitty? Maybe I should have put a smallish raise on river?

* give up on the turn, 2nd barrel is pure spew here
* as played bet/fold the river.

Raise preflop - Ok, maybe $0.40 but not bad.

Cbet - If you think the villain will fold its fine.
Turn - Spew, firstly what do you put villain on that you think he will now fold with a 9 coming out? You could be up against a set, top pair (K10 etc), a 9 coming out won't make him fold where a bet before didn't.
River - Spew x2, Firstly why bet trying to take the pot if you didn't think you were drawing to some live options? If you think you're up against a set you're drawing dead, give up the turn, if you think its A10 for instance you up against (two pair comment) you've only got 3 jack's as outs, give up the turn.

If you think you're ahead on the A, then bet it for value.

Assuming there were no limpers the pot was .8 on the flop (and yes please use a coverter so I don't have to count the pot size) your bet of .45 seems very weak. If villain called with a drawing hand, say 56s, he might very likely call these small bets as he can hope to improve. The turn was at about 1.7, I would check this as you have no pair, no draw and now it gets much more expensive to get villain to fold. On the river I'd call a small bet (which might be likely if you checked turn). The only draw that made it was a gutshot, so I'm not too worried about that though.

As played, with the river at 3.7 I'd make another small bet, maybe $1.5. I think he will call with Tx as you really haven't shown that much strength and your betting seems weird, also he might fold since the ace might scare him, in which case you don't need to show your hand. If he re-raises then I'd fold. With two pair I think he might lead out on the river, since he might very well put you on AJ+.
