hard for him to put you on a king after you checked the turn (i would have bet), so it's hard for him to fold say AQ to a raise. Make it $300ish, fold to a shove

My thoughts on betting the turn were that I'm only getting c/r by better (barring history which I have none w/ this villian) and nothing worse is calling, anyone have a different opinion on that?

There's really nobody who expects to c/r bluff this turn and get someone to lay down a K.

I like a turn bet. You could've been floating with all kinds of stuff on that flop, or have a range of underpairs that don't want to give free cards. Your best shot to get paid off is to bet like $140 here and get action from a big pair (99-AA) that can't possibly fold unless you've been a total nit.

Given the check and river lead, I think that you have to be ahead an absurd amount of the time, often because he's completely full of it (I mean, what a beautiful card for a small bluff bet). Any better hand would almost undoubtedly lead a little harder and hope you have a K, or would check and hope you value bet an Ace. So I'd stick in a raise to 300, even though I'm not loving it. At least give him a chance to make a bad call.

When I raise as the villain did there, I don't expect CO to be calling me with 45 very often. It would be a very minor consideration.

And I'd completely expect him to bet the flop or turn with a set or AK, so if I lost it would be to exactly KT-KQ.

So yeah it's thin, but I think we're ahead a ton and he makes a bad call plenty often for a raise to be worthwhile.

I do bet the turn sometimes w/out a K, and I would sometimes bet it with this K here, but this opponent doesn't know that I would bet without a K, that was my reasoning @ the time anyways, good thought process or no?

Sometimes I check the turn, but I definitely raise that river. I don't really care if he pays off or not. I think its poor form to call weak 1/2 pot bet with trips on a dry board.
