87s turn a combo

villan is an aggro tag running like 24/17 or something. he probably views me as tag as i have not done much at the table. we dont have a ton of history fom past sessions but he prob views me as aggro/tag/etc.

i called flop w. the intention of raising the tun alot. but given this turn, do you still raise? the # of credible hands on the flop c/r is minimal for villan and i think he is FOS alot. i suppose 3balling flop is an option but not one id take with many hands.

call, stacks suck for a raise

i'd raise and fold to a shove. He can't shove a raise without a set or KJ.

sweet sweet pot odds = call. stack sizes awkward for a raise as noted above.

Um, no, you can't raise if you are going to fold. I just call and go from there with nice direct odds and also nice implied odds esp. for the straight.

Edit: Although I just realized a 9 isn't the nuts. Oh well, make sure it's the 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I'm quite confused by his turn-bet. Is this like AK or something?

Re: 87s turn a combo

If we miss, he's going to check/call the river. If we raise here, he folds way more than 50% of the time. We have a lot of fold equity here.
