call or fold. 4-bet pot 1000 NL

Villain is 30/6/1.6 over ton of hands. He is ridic calling station, the majority of the time he has excellent hands when making big bets. How is preflop? I figure his range is JJ+, AK. On the flop, I thought for the allowed 15 sec and he shoved instantly after I checked. If you vote fold how big a mistake do you think calling is (in $)?

well following your read and your range folding is a pretty big mistake although I prolly fold here.

I'd be inclined to take out KK and AA from villian's range for sure. it is so small that I don't think its too bad to jsut ignore them.

This is gross...he's verrry taggish preflop. I don't fold, though I think it'd be a good idea to.

Why take KK out of the range, that's not logical. Poker is a game of deduction, omitting strong hands from a preflop range is acceptable if we're alright with donating.

Can't tell you how big a mistake calling is, but I think it's a fold.

would he think AK is an excellent hand on a KQJ board in a 3-bet pot? because i am inclined to fold.

If his range is JJ+ my equity is 21% if his range is JJ+,AK it's around 50%. If his range is JJ+,AKs (i.e. assume that he is not v likely to shove AK) equity jumps to 31%. I think this is a close fold. (Lose like 50-80$ if I call).
