1. I thought I made the approrpaite preflop raise
2. I was uncomfortable with that board, the bet and the raise, and the number of players that were in the pot. But with 9 outs to the nuts, I made the appropriate call considering the pot odds.
3. Booya, hit the Ace. I do concede that on the flop (considering the board) I was looking for another spade, not an Ace or a Queen. Again, on the turn, considering the pot odds I felt the call was appropriate.
4. Alrite, no spade. but with 10.50 big blinds already into the pot, I can't lay this hand down. MP2 can have a hand like an Ace and the jack or queen of spades.

3bet flop--nobody is going anywhere, and you are 34% to make your flush by the river.

I think there could be an argument for raising the turn, as any incorrect decision is softened by the fact that you will make the best hand on the river a good amount of time.

River call is OK as you haven't really defined your hand to villain.

edit: hero is 3-betting flop / not capping...

Re-raise flop, you have tons of equity from your (weak OCs), a BDSD and A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and there are 4 people in.

Raise turn, you probably have the best hand and you have redraws to the nuts if you dont.

Call river.

turn - What happened to BB? He check/raised flop but folded turn? Did he check/fold? Only 2 bets are added between turn and river so I am assuming he folded. If so, then I raise turn.

PF raise is standard.

Raise the flop.

As played raise the turn, esp. w/ BB allin. You'll often have the best hand already and still have a great draw if you need it.

I guess just calling on the river is okay. It's kind of hard to know where you stand since you didn't raise the flop or turn.

Thanks for the input guys. I know I made the right decision on every street except the river. But it ultimately came down to, do I think this guy flopped a flush? I thought it unlikely. But I did felt that I was beat. But I guess the big question is..

1. Considering the way the hand was played, considering I am only against 1 player, considering the size of the pot, was it correct to call that bet despite having the feeling that your beat?

kyndgroove also made an excellent point in using the raise and the re-raise on the flop and turn just to see where your at. but why put more money in a put your not sure of, esp. if u dunno if the pot will get that big to justify it

likely not and you get to see the river for free if he calls and still have a draw if he 3 bets.
