Caesar\'s $560: TP+OESD facing C/R on flop

Caesar's Poker Classic, $500+60. I'm still not sure if I played this hand badly. Blinds 50/100, I'm in the CO with 2800. Two limpers in front of me, I limp with 54hh, Button folds, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: 4 3 2 rainbow. The 3 is the 3h. Checked around to me, I bet 250, SB folds, BB C/R to 750, everyone else folds. Hero?

BB has a lot of chips, probably 7-8K (we started with 2500). I think he's a tight, somewhat aggressive player who's been hit by the deck so far. He's shown a few big laydowns. He's bet out on a few flops with top pair. I'm fairly confident that he's not on a draw (including combo draws) or bluff.

So you made a .5psb and left yourself with 2550 after the bet. The pot is 1k, you are getting 2:1 on your money at the moment. You figure he probably has 2pr here (maybe staight, but you have a 5). On the turn, there is pretty much no card (other than a 2 or 3) that isn't helping you or possibly slowing him down. I think that live I would call and see what he does on the turn. The fact that he can make big laydowns does dissuade me some from calling this raise if he will fold if the 4straight gets there. I think I make the call on the flop (leaving me with 2k in a 1500 pot) and see what happens on the turn.
IF your read goes that strong that he has a big hand I can find a fold here.

do you think your equity is high enough shoving this flop? Arent there so many turn cards that can come around that you can take it away with?

btw, online im shoving this, but I think that the passive live play would make this a call.

didnt you beast some up in TStone this year? I mean I think that it could easily be the right play, but I just tend to play more passively live b/c I cant see this guy firing a 2nd bullet bluff live, where as I can see him losing his stack with one of those hands on the turn if you hit your hand.

Since it was such a fun board, I shoved. Villain thought for a while and called with 22, no help for me, gg. Given Villain's tightness and huge stack, I think it probably wasn't the right play since FE was less than it would be under normal circumstances.

all the more reason to shove honestly. Having an OESD with likely even more outs vs a "im gonna trap youuu" overpair is a hudge situation to be in live.
