Ideal cold weather undershirt?

Besides the obvious (Under Armour), what is the best brand to wear as a base layer while working/walking outside? Compression, moisture wicking shirts?

My current job has me working outside for 8hrs a day and winter is just around the corner. Any suggestions?

Icebreaker makes great cold weather underwear. 100% wool, very warm, not scratchy, doesn't retain stink like underarmour.

polypropelene is warmest and wicks away moister the best. but all the fake materials hold in the body odor.
the secret to staying marm in cold weather is to never exert yourself to where you sweat. then you dont get wet and get cold. nopen up you coat as you exercise more.

i wear almost all natural fibers in the coldest of winter and do fine. except for my outer coat sometimes and that may be down and nylon, or thinsulate.
