aba quote on never limping
im pretty sure in one of the aba threads, BT says he never limps (not even overlimps) in 6 max or full.
What do you guys think of this advice for small stakes NL games today? How about higher games? |
Re: aba quote on never limping
I would never open limp in a small stakes 6-max NL game. I don't play full ring so I don't really know.
Edit: Well, maybe not never, but very very rarely |
Re: aba quote on never limping
aba open limps on the button in one of his CR videos

Re: aba quote on never limping
I only over-limp if limper's stacks are short enough to where I'm committed to calling their shove.

At a table with a maniac who doesn't fold, loves to raise/re-raise preflop and will pay you off in any case when you hit, open limp/call is fine with certain hands. Like any other rule, it helps to know why you are doing what you are doing. |

never limping is retarded and is burning money [/ QUOTE ] open limping opens your game up at times. i do it rarely but from time to time do open limp given table dynamics, or just because i want to see a flop with 45o and want to play a small pot with it unless i flop strong. go ahead a disagree here but always having a total default 100% of the time sucks. |
