200NL: 88 Flops Set 187BB Deep

Villain is 18/8/5.8 over 200 hands, I’m relatively new to the table, but just doubled up with KK.

Poker Stars, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 9 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

Hero (SB): $457.45
BB: $253.85
UTG: $213.25
UTG+1: $296.50
UTG+2: $421.05
MP1: $374.35
MP2: $173.90
CO: $382.10
BTN: $200.80

Pre-Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
3 folds, <font color="red">MP1 raises to $5</font>, 3 folds, Hero calls $4, BB calls $3

Flop: ($15) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $10</font>, BB folds, <font color="red">MP1 raises to $20</font>, Hero calls $10

<font color="green">This is a play I make only rarely these days, I used to do it more back in my nit set miner days. I lead from the small blind with my set and hope to get played back at (the villain seems pretty aggressive). His minimum raise suggest to me a relatively weak hand KQ-Q9 and JJ-99 maybe, possibly a flush draw. Players at this level tend to raise more with their overpairs and sets. We are effectively 187BB deep to start this hand, I can be deceptive and just call or make the less risky play of three-betting the flop and keep the lead oop. Let’s follow both scenarios…</font>

Scenario A
<font color="red">MP1 raises to $20</font>, Hero raises $70,<font color="red"> MP1 calls $50</font>
Turn: ($155) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)

<font color="green">Scare card for him if he has an overpair, if he had the flush draw it just got there. We still have 150BBs behind us… What’s your assessment of the hand as it stands and what is your line from here? </font>

Scenario B
<font color="red">MP1 raises to $20</font>, Hero calls $10
Turn: ($55) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)

<font color="green">What’s your assessment of the hand as it stands and what is your line from here?</font>

It is rare that I find myself in these deep stacked situations, especially with big hands getting action so I kind of get a little lost at times. To me, this is an interesting turn card given the size of the pot, the money still behind and the play on proceeding streets. I’d love your answers for both scenarios.
