I can confirm that if I was better at poker I could make a living on 400NL.

Seriously, lets say you play five tables. Really it is the same at one game of 2000NL at a casino, but with less variance. People certainly made a living at med/high stakes in the casino, you can do it on lower stakes on the internet.

I haven't played a hand of poker in three months. I just don't feel like it. No downswings, no bankroll problems, nothing. I was winning and cashing out consistently. My wife used to be indifferent to me playing and now that the money isn't coming in, I am being encouraged to get back to it.

WTF, I lived off of 200 NL (canadian, 19).

Living off 400NL is easy

You won't be balla balla necessarily, but its easy as pie. People live off mcdonalds money, and I assure you 400NL is much more than that

I don't doubt that you can live off 400NL. I'm just not very optimistic on the future of online poker, and potential to make more in the future.

I'd much rather have my 7-10 ( [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img] )job, with the potential of making mad monies in the future. holla!

Tiedup you're completely without clue. I've made around 5K/month for the past two months (all inclusive, rakeback, bonuses, the works) playing 200 and 400 NL for an average of about 3 hrs/day, and I'm not even particularly good. I was frankly hopeless at the start of that time.

Zero and I get to play on better sites than you Americans. (At least, if she's not playing on Party and Titan, she needs to switch immediately upon reading this, and thank me later).
