Depends on how aggressive he is postflop in other hands.

Re: NL100 JJ vs loose player

i prefer calling his raise and seeing what he does on the turn since we have position. a push is only getting called by hands we lose to. i would probably bet if checked to depending on the turn, possibly check behind and call a river bet. i definitely fold if he leads the turn though.

edit: unless you think hes crazy enough to take a line like this with TPTK, or a NFD, then id probably just call down.

You think a losse player will fold after making a $35 raise with 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]?

i think some will, like i said depends on exactly how loose and crazy you think he is.

Doesn't look like he has a made hand yet, probably has a huge draw. 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img],4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], or 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
would be my guess. Or nothing. This doesn't look like a flop that would hit a TAG player. An overpair isn't impossible, but unlikely.

Given that, you may very well be behind here. I'd like to call and push a blank turn, but most of the deck is scare cards. You do have the J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] so you may have a redraw and one of his outs.

I don't know. Against a good loose player, this could be a fold.
