I think I would like this better if you had made your first bet on the turn rather than the flop.

Against NoTurns, I don't know if this is such a great idea in general. He seems the type to like making hero calls.

He does like to make hero calls. But he knows that I know that he likes to make hero calls, especially vs me. So logically it really makes no sense for me to try to bluff him here - which is why it makes sense for me to bluff him.
