opinions about a 2-5 nm hand at borgata yesterday
been playing very tight for 45 minutes-all junk starting hands. Finally get 88 in late position.Early position solid player raises $20 - 2 callers -I call.
Flop comes j 8 6 rainbow. Raiser bets $35 other player folds and I call. A on turn. early player bets $55, I make it $155 to go, he shoves. I have $550,he has me covered. I call - he turns over AA- river is a blank. I think I played it right, but was destined to be stacked. I put him on AA,KK QQ AJ JJ AK. So I could beat all of his hands except AA or JJ. Thoughts and opinions? thanks in advance |

i never fold sets out of fear of a higher one. esp when its only 100 or so bb's. i think this hand is fine.

I think you should just call the turn.
