Fun Tiger hypothetical

Assume you are playing Tiger on your normal course and he is hitting into a normal cup at typical pin positions. You are playing the same holes, but when you hit a different (larger) cup magically appears on the green as your goal.

How large in diameter would your cup have to be until you are an even money bet with Tiger?

Assume that you get no weird bounce outs because of the larger cup, and that the green becomes pristene when Tiger has to play. Please state your handicap or typical score with your answer.

I'll say the cup needs to be the size of Cleveland.

I dunno, given a cup 18 inches in diameter someone like my dad who is around a 7 (with not much length but a lot of short game) could probably hole 50% of the shots he hits within 20 yards of the green.

Someone like me, it probably wouldn't matter as I frequently am still trying to get off the tee in bounds at a number of strokes that would put Tiger in the hole.

Cup could be half the size of a normal cup but it would have to be located in a water hazard. I would totally own Tiger given these circumstances.

Are you including the suburbs?

I'm a 30+ handicap and I'm guessing about 20ft across. I'd birdie a chunk of the par 3's and 5's, but I'd still bogey (or worse) quite a few par 4's.

I think if anything on the green counted as in the cup I think I could beat him as long as the course wasn't too long.

2-3 feet? I dunno, I'm assuming if I get on in one more than regulation no less than 16-17 holes, I can easily put it in a 3 foot hole from near anywhere.
