Variance in MTT

I have read, lets say 500 players tournament, that that "pro" win again this tourney or so.Statisically good pros mayby win 1 to 250.The best player in the world mayby 1 to 200.
When i read poker magazine, then i can read that someone was ept final 2 times or has 3-4 wsop bracelets.
But nobody says how many tournamnents they have played.Actually most of celebrities play all the time. When they play for example few hundred tourneys a year, belive me they hit smth. And they must hit smth in statistically.
So im annoyed of poker celebrities who will think they are Gods.Or they almost are confident after winning some tourney "I controlled the table","I was pretty sure im gonna win this tourney" they said like it was ment to be.
Any toughts? Are poker celebrities overrated?

English clearly isn't this guy's first language, Noah...

And to answer the original question, I do think live pros' big win stats are skewed because they do play a lot of tourneys, but I'm guessing they also win a higher % of the time than unknown players. They have a lot more live tourney experience than most of the internet MTT pros, and that gives them a big edge.
