I\'m not a business maaan

I'm a business, man
so let me handle my business, daaaamn

15/30 Bellagio game

CO has been raising almost every orbit, and has shown that he's raising light. LAG city for sure, but I've yet to see him get massively out of line post flop. All fold to him, he pops it.

I look down at two black 6's in the sb and decide I want to play the hand alone against him. I've folded a ton of blinds to him, not this one. I raise, BB folds (super nit), and flop is

K56 rainbow

I check raise the flop, he goes 3. I call with the intention of banging on his head on the big streets

turn:

K56K, and the second king puts a red flush draw out. I check raise him again, he goes 3, I go 4, he calls. Nice I'm going to win this.

river

K56K2, no flush

I bet, raise, I 3, he 4's...

Does this have to be KK if he goes 6 ? Anyone not put one last raise in on the river ?

Ya I guess the very bottom of his range could be K5s. I wasn't thinking of that. I hadn't seem him raise that light, but you're right it's got to be an option.

Once the flush doesn't come, the river blanks off, villain has watched you be ridiculuous on the flop and turn, and done some stop-and-go stuff on the turn/river, 8 bets is too much on the big streets. Call the 4-bet. It's closer to calling the raise than it is 5-betting.

Just lead the flop.

"just lead the flop"

see I cr air there as much as I check raise top pair or better. That was a pretty consistent play for me, and was getting me extra bets all night when heads up.

It's a blind steal situation. You don't need any more deception and he is likely to raise just as often as he bets if he has any piece of the hand, esp. with that read. Additionally, it allows you to 3-bet and also doesn't shut villain down into showdown-bound mode when he has a marginal holding. Lastly, flop getting checked through here is terrible.

Bet the flop.

I still disagree. I know he's likely to bet here over 90% of the time. I've been checking raising light him and he knows that. If anything is shutting him down, its me betting and going 3.

lol at your silly c/r flop line.

I'd just call the river raise.

Definitely just call. Just because he's a LAG doesn't mean he can't be ahead. He could definitely be overplaying AK or KQ or something, but he's seen you show a ton of strength and isn't backing down. Most live players don't go 3+ bets on the big streets without something close to the nuts. I'd say 55 would be his most likely holding, but the suited K's are definite possibilities from a laggy CO raiser.

KK seems unlikely given he just called your 3-bet preflop, but it's obviously possible.

Oh and I don't think the flop matters that much, but I prefer leading out. Even if a lag knows you c/r light, it still feels stronger than a simple bet, even a b/3b imo. Which is all the more reason to just call the river 4-bet.
