Villain is 25/22/3 over only 65 hands or so. PRetty aggro from what i've seen, no specific reads though.

What was your logic for not raising the flop? I'd probably just go ahead and do that to get some more information.

Not sure how I feel about checking behind on the flop. As played you don't give yourself much room to get away from the hand.

I think you should raise this flop almost every time.

I think you need to raise the flop for a few reasons:

1) probably have the best hand
2) any diamond/ace/4-8 is either an action killer or puts you behind
3) you need to protect yourself for when you raise here with air.

If I knew villain's range for doing this was {sets, big draws, 2pair}, then I call and reeval the turn, and then you have to get it in on a safe turn. readless though I think raising the flop is the best play.
