How much trickles down to actual members of indian tribes?

So I was playing poker in Pompano (Fl) the other day. The usual suspects at the table.

Mr.Iknoweverythingabouteverything chimes into the conversation about revenue sharing from the Seminole casinos. He said that each member of the tribe receives $7,000/month. All children born to tribal parents automatically start receiving the $7k/month.

This does not sound plausible, but he did talk with a lot of conviction. Is this possible? If so am I able to change my name back to RunningDeer?

Oh yeah, and what's the deal with 5-10 NL, $100 max buyin?

Read the legislation forum or google. It's the maximum buy in allowed in a NL game in Florida. LOL @ anyone who would play 5/10 NL with 10bb's.

It depends upon the tribe. There are CA tribes that distribute far far more than 7k/mo/member.

Each member of the tribe that owns Pechanga casino here in SoCal is making $30,000/month.

First you will have to take off your shoes and go into the forest without food or water.

Then your will have to meditate until your nature guide appears to you and conveys wisdom to you in your visionquest.

Then you can have your car back.

Hmm ... I'm 1/16th Native American (some tribe (which one I don't know) in Cass County, Missouri).

Perhaps it's time I do some digging to find the name (and tribe) of my Great, Great, Grandmother (on my mother side), who was full blood Native American and see if I can get some money!
