Maybe not quite front page material, but I thought this was an awesome story, considering the CEO of the Pads (Sandy Alderson) was a former Marine.

This may sound weird, but I was hoping the damage was to his pitching hand and that it caused some crazy movement like Mordecai Brown.

Why, because he blew his his own hand up with a grenade?

I hope he makes the majors, only because I'd love to hear him say "I'm a [censored] Soldier!" in a postgame interview.
