HU Tournament Book in 2008
 

It's now official -- 2+2 will be publishing a HU no-limit tournament book that I am writing in 2008. As some of you know, I have largely switched my focus over the past year from full SNGs to HU. With this transition I began recording many of my observations on strategy and the underlying math, and this writing has grown into, well, a book....

The HU forum here at 2+2 has been an invaluable resource, and reading the hands and strategy posted have helped my game immensely -- as I'm sure it has for all of you. One thing I particularly like about HU forum is that the posts actually center around content rather than one-word idiotic replies like some other forums. (I won't name names, but the letters S and T figure prominently [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] )

As this project progresses, I would be very grateful for continued support from the HU forum -- and I will definitely be acknowledging both the forum and individual posters in the book itself when I use an idea that originated here.

In summary, I'm writing a book, and HU forum rules.

Yea we do. GL with the book Collin, will the scope of the book include HU cash scenarios as well or no?

checkmate36, most likely late spring.

cwar, I'm planning on discussing differences between tournament and cash as a fairly major section, but I'm not a HU cash expert so the vast majority will focus on tournament play. Fortunately my man Stoxtrader is coming out with a book on NL cash that (I believe) will cover HU. And he most certainly IS a HU cash expert.
