i just did something so disgusting i had to quit my session early before i lost everything

basically AAxxx board with 3 spades, maniac who takes a certain line only when he had a flush took it on me (call, then minraise when he hits, shove river), and i folded AQ on the river...and he shows K2o.

maniac as in 70/40/1

brag: good discipline to know when to quit?

You know those times when you play 3 pots with AA, get stacked twice and folded around other. Then you run into AA with QQ and KK? Good times imo. I'm getting pwned tonight.

LOL my bankroll on stars is dropping fast. Might need to move down if it keeps up.

i just dealt with the lag and made a 54 min video...its a bit choppy but i think its good enough, not like its screwin anything up

but who in their right mind would want to listen to me for 54 minutes?

Make sure the "auto rate players" check box is unchecked for your import settings in PT. I had this checked for a long time and never noticed a lag until I started using AHK scripts. Couldn't figure out wtf was wrong w/ my computer and was thinking I needed to buy more memory. Unchecked the box - voila...no more PT problems.

How can you establish such a narrow read on a maniac?!?
And yes, quitting when you feel that you are starting to tilt is a good thing.

SB is a tard, so I'm not even thinking about him there. Could be holding any two. UTG has been raising any Ace and showing it down light. PF I'm getting great odds, on the flop I've got five immediate outs and a ton of redraws on the turn. On the flop, UTG just calls the donk bet, which says to me he hasn't got anything except overs but is sticking around because the SB is such a reject (how am I to know he's slowplaying on a drawy board like a fool). One of them comes, SB tard bets and basically confirms that he's got nothing, I come over the top having added a ton of outs and UTG just calls again.

I'm not saying it's an amazingly played hand or anything, but given my opponents and the potential of my hand I don't think it's atrocious. If the turn's a blank, I fold. It wasn't and I was allowed to draw without any aggro at all.

So i have moved up to 100nl and I ran well the first couple sessions...but I hit my first downswing...luckily Im still up a bit. Ive decided my progression in poker is going to be 100nl for 30-40 buyins...then 100nl HU for about the same (there will be withdrawls as well). I played a little HU today against what I thought was an average opponent and it seems like almost free money...except the rake sucks.

On another note, I really need to step my game up. I dont really have anyone to discuss standard spots with on poker via msn or PM even. If anybody is in the same position as me...currently, recently, or about to make the jump to SSNL, pm me so we can talk some poker. Thanks uNL
