NL 50: Flopped Nut Flush and get action

Villian is 17/5/3.5 over large sample, sees 19% of SDs
Hero is 16/12/Inf at this table

No notable history, poor note taking on my part. We are ~150bb deep. Is this flop line ideal or can we flat call and risk the board pairing? He's obviously not an idiot and I'm OOP holding the Ace, so he can't be raising a naked nut FD--although he could hold the Jc, I suppose.

You flopped the nut flush. I play the same.

I'd play the same. Raise looks nice to keep a lower flush in the hand.

A lower flush will never fold no matter how much we raise...

This is fine, I 3bet here too, but I 3bet the naked Ac here a lot too.

3bet definatly a good call, cant let him see another card for to cheap right? I mean what if the board pairs then how much do you bet?

Anyways I feel your bet sizing for the 3bet was great a bit more than 3x the reraise which is reasonable considering he is challenging your hand.

Looks good to me- I swing for the fences here. Either villain has a hand or he doesn't. If he doesn't, hand is over. If he has a set he might slow down, which is why you don't want to. If he has a flush, get the money in before the board pairs (cause it always does, right?).

He might even look you up with two pair, thinking that you have top pair and are protecting your hand against a flush draw. Shoot, at this level I've been looked up by top pair when playing made flushes fast.

BTW, J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] on the turn would be sick . . .
