Two Limit Hands I Hated

This is in the $3/$6 game over at Pacific. The table is moderately loose, not very aggressive.

Hand One: The question here is, did I overplay my hand?

I'm in the BB SB with A-K-5-4 (JT suited).
Button limps to me, I complete, and the BB checks.
Flop comes A-A-9.
I bet out, the BB folds, and the button calls.
Turn is a 7.
I bet again, the button calls again.
River is a J.
I bet again, and the button calls. Should I have checked the turn or the river?

Hand Two: question is, just how poorly did I play the hand? This was a complete brainfart on my part.
I'm two off the button with K-Q-Q-J (QJ suited). Three players limp to me.
I call. Should I have raised with this good high hand in position against 3 limpers?
The button calls, the SB calls, the BB checks.
The flop comes T-T-4.
All check to me.
I check. Should this have been an easy bet?
The button bets.
Everyone folds back to me.
I raise to $6. Is there anything to this raise, or I am a donkey here?
The button calls.
Turn is a 6.
I bet. Should the call on 3rd have frozen me?
The button calls.
River is an offsuit Jack.
I bet. Again, this is probably a clear check, no?
The button calls.

I haven't included villain's hands on either game because I don't want results to affect analysis. Just how badly did I play these hands?

Hand #1. I might have checked on the river. You didn't make your boat. I would guess that the other player had A7 in this hand or pocket 7's. For them not to re-raise u on the river.

Hand #2.
I would of bet one more time on the turn and if called then I would of figured I Was dead. I would guess that the button had the set and never made the boat. Your 2 pair were dead eh?

I think checking the river in hand #1 would be a mistake, just because you are OOP. Better hands are likely to bet whenever you check, so unless you are planning on folding the river (that would be bad) you're going to lose a bet to them anyway. You might as well collect a bet from the hands that you're beating by betting the river.
