The Official NFL Draft Thread

The mock drafts are about done with less than 40 minutes until the Raiders are on the clock.

Unless the Raiders pull off some cooky trade and grab a QB, then they'll use the #1 pick to get JaMarcus Russell.

Not at all. Brian Williams move to Free Safety is gonna happen. Nelson is not gonna play conerback. A Nelson pick means Williams stays at CB.

"This morning, we've received an e-mail from a reader with a screen shot of a page on the Jaguars site indicating that the team has picked safety Reggie Nelson of Florida. The page in question -- jaguars.com/draft -- can now be accessed only with a user name and password."

OMG, they have Keyshawn Johnson doing NFL draft analysis.

First Irvin, then Johnson. Why don't they just get every single big mouthed receiver in the NFL today and have them do analysis.

You can have Michael Irvin, Keyshawn Johnson, Terrell Owens, Chad Johnson, Torry Holt and...Mel Kiper Jr.

"Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette wrote: "With the 15th pick in this draft, the Steelers reside in an ideal spot to trade. There will be a handful of teams willing to offer a prized draft choice to swap places with them in the first round, and Jacksonville is at the top of that list. The Jaguars want Pitt cornerback Darrelle Revis more than anything." If Revis or Anderson was available when the Steelers went on the clock, would you trade up to pick one of them?"

"Let's talk a little about what the Jaguars might do. In my opinion, Darrelle Revis and Jamaal Anderson are top targets. Will one of them be available at 17? Probably not. What if one of them was available when the Steelers go on the clock at pick 15? Chew on that and I'll be back at you."
