in general: thin value against a pretty transparent range, since this should be always a confusing spot.

in this case: QT,JT,9T maybe even 99 - who knows.

I tried this some times, it never worked. but I still think there is EV. Am i wrong?

c) I think your hand is fairly transparent with this play. You are never going to check raise the river with an ace. I do wonder if a pair of eights might call you though because it looks so strange but I don't think it has +EV. I'd call on the river.

The and is DEFINITELY not transparent. Would never imagine someone actually had 2nd pair if they did this! That doesn't mean it's good though.
