Wow, the last thing I expected to happen was to see Tennessee fans talking smack in this thread about their season.

3 blowout losses and 3 luckbox escapes to traditional SEC dregs translates into bragging rights apparently.

qfmft

we definately had some luckbox games as well though lol

Re: 2007 SEC Football Thread

Not really trying to talk smack about our season, just upbeat about our chances in the SEC game. I know we have had some lucky spots and got our azz handed to us on 3 seperate occasions this year. But, nonetheless we are playing for a BCS bid and I am excited about the future here at TN, our defense is young and still effectively shut down Mcfadden, imo the best college player out there right now. Some say Tebow and that argument could be made but my opinion is it is Mcfadden. we just need a coach that is more in tune with the ever changing SEC style of play that is trending more toward stacking offensively than defensively, a complete 180 from a decade ago. Fulmer needs to adapt, if possible, and he will have a team capable oif a NC run in the next 2 years.

The Vols really are a different team in these last 5 games than the one that started the season 1-2. We have won 5 in a row including both the teams that knocked LSU out of #1 ranking and both of our last games ended in overtime. We had an emotional win and LSU an emotional loss. That combined with the Les Miles going to Michigan distractions makes this game much more even money in my mind than the -7.5 pt odds Vegas is laying out right now.

Edit: If LSU wins I will be in Sec 131 Row 28 in an orange oxford, brown hair and beard,6'3" and sorta fat lol. Come by and say hey if you are there, I will gladly shake your hand and congratulate you. I posted section 121 before and I was wrong.

Awwww poor Gator! I guess you forgot your team was +5 in close games last year.

I wasn't saying anything other than UT should of won the division with their schedule this year..which has nothing to do with how the Gators did in close games last year.

I was pulling for UT vs KY, don't take it so personal.

If anyone here is a fan of EDSBS, there's an amazing Fulmer "Fiddler on the Roof" spinoff over there.

Ignorant Q on my part, but why would he do this?

Auburn historically is better. I get that with Satan er Saban around it'll put a dent in recruiting ... but you're still stuck in the SECwest.

If he's looking for someone to back up the moneytruck, should be a few other openings avail that he'd be a front runner for, no?
