give me quick plo tourney tips
 

greetings tourney superstars.

i'm going to play in the HA event on ftp, but i've played omaha 3 times in my life and never in a tourney. what few things would you tell me ?

i do have one easy question: what types of hands am i ok getting it all in pre with?

la, most of them. Dont fold preflop in an all-in situation generally if you are getting between 1.5 and 2:1. Dont be afraid to resteal with suited connectors and semi-connectors. most people will have zero idea of how to value their hands, so will fold hands to reraises way to often. so being aggro preflop in the middle stages is very profitable as they will make mistakes constantly.

MLG's advice is very good. As for hands, don't overvalue pairs, note those who overvalue any high pair, and, basically the more connected, higher and suited your hand, the better. Deep enough, for example, a double suited wrap is gold for calling pot bets with because it's pretty clear when you've hit and how hard whereas getting serious action on flopping a set is often bad news.
